Green Karratha

Karratha is still green from the cyclones. These shots would normally be full of yellow spinifex instead of green. It definitely wont last so I wanted to get some more images of it.

Abstract

I saw some “abstract landscape” photos recently. I’m not sure I get it really. They just looked like zoomed in photos. Anyway, I had a go at it and this is the best abstract I could come up with.

A Long Weekend

I spent the weekend in Margaret River with Holly and found some great places to shoot. The beach shots are at Redgate and the bush track is near the river. The trees are at the Boranup Forest. I have to declare that Holly framed the shot of the bush track. Great work!

Post Cyclone Karratha

So another cyclone passed through Karratha recently. I flew up afterwards and there were waterfalls running down the hills next to town. It’s quite bizarre that such a dry place can transform so dramatically. These are the results – I’ll add the details later.
